THEY ARE WORST AS THE BIG BANKS

Auto loan experience First I applied for loan and was appoved for $22k but was having issues with trade in & credit report so I thought refinancing would be easier….WRONG valued by them for $13k, so I needed another $2k, they would approve for that somewhere else.

Now Shell always claims to help with credit full of BS.

THEY ARE WORST AS THE BIG BANKS, So after 24hrs wait on an email question reply this is want I sent them…

I already called and talked with someone yesterday. She’ll FCU proclaims to help people did credit issues which is full of ****.

If you will only approve refinancing auto loans for the value of the cars how is that helping anyone.

One if one gets the loan at value or below they might as well trade it in.

Second you offer 90 days deterred payments in that 90 days a person could pay off credit cards limiting there debt.

So if you don’t put all that into consideration. Why do we deal with you and your false claims on helping people.

You’re not really helping anyone at all, to me your just as bad as the big banks.

I will definitely out my reviews in this bank. Now I have issues with Capital One they & my past money issues got me in the credit issue I’m in.

Yet that bank granted me the car loan I’m in even if it’s at 18% apr at least that’s a chance.

So how is Shell FCU helping people. Now I’m considering removing my deposit and going back to Capital One bank & I left them for you, thinking you would be better.

Now I see I was completely wrong, you would even put the difference about my car value on another loan.

So once again I’m like why am I banking with She’ll FCU. If you want more business you need to improve you judgement on people.

Now please forward this to your managers, loan officers, etc people that make all the decisions, no wonder you cannot keep employees at your banks.

If you want a bank to prosper then you have to consider the people.

The good part is that at least I make all my payments on time.

    Please take my advice and DO NOT use this bank for ANYTHING!

    Do not use this bank for anything! I was in the process of buying a new truck. I was approved for the truck in question and was already told what my payments would be. I was told that the truck has to be inspected before the deal is confirmed and it will cost me $200.

    I agreed and the dealer and i met the inspector at the woodlands mall. Truck checked out very well with all fluids and no accidents. I then received a call HOURS later stating they will not finance the truck due to it having a lift and “big tires”.

    I do not recommend this bank to anybody and will never consider doing any business with them again. This bank is a joke. They took my $200 dollars and denied the deal.

    Please take my advice and DO NOT use this bank for ANYTHING!

    I’ve been with Shell for almost a year now and I’ve got to say, their rates are good and the people are friendly but on the technical side of things, they are horrible.

    – The website is ugly and cluttered, half the time I can’t find anything with all the adds floating around (this is the same after account login) but you kinda get used to it after a while…

    – I’ve had my card shutdown for anti fraud prevention twice which would be a nice feature except that you can only get it re-activated by the bank itself Monday through Friday 8 to 5 and the last time this occurred at 7pm on a Friday so I was down for the weekend.

    The second time, when I got in touch with them on Monday I was told the card was already canceled and they would need to ship me a new card. After I grumbled a bit they waved the fee for expediting a new card.

    What a total disgrace!

    Online banking (the service not the whole website) has gone down a number of times and currently it has been down since mid day Friday and its Sunday and since tomorrow (Monday) is a federal holiday I’m guessing it won’t be back up till Tuesday, if we are lucky.

    Oh, and don’t get your password incorrect on the website 3 times, or you’ll be down till the next business day. No self authentication (you know, Moms birthday or first job type questions) to re-enable your login.

    As you can see, weekend and evening services for this bank don’t exist. And for things like the online banking, I believe a few hours of IT overtime should be a given.

    The bank needs to realize that customers these days have a good choice as to where they can bank and the current perception is that I should be able to access my money any time any where, even if I have a problem.
