VERY UNHAPPY!!!!!!!!!!! the furniture store has wonderful furniture.  The service does not fit the wonderful furniture The service is POOR. I purchased two tables that was quite expensive. when the tables were delivered one was damaged. I was told that they inspect every piece of furniture before it leaves the warehouse. BIG LIE!!! They left message stating that they will becoming too exchange out the damage furniture on a Saturday between 1-3pm which never happened. I waited an hour passed the window of time. I then drove to the store to see what was going on  . As i was arriving to the store the delivery people called and say that were at my house.  I spoke too the manager at the store. She stated if you started out having a bad experience you will continue too have one to the end. That is a bad response too tell your customer.. All they did was refund back the delivery fee that i am waiting for. As far as changing out the damaged table they will do it after i get off from work. I live in Montgomery county work in Arlington. I like too know when that will happen? I saw a coffee table that i like it was over $2100 dollars they would give me a 30% discount. When i called the manufacture about the table they said the table cost $350. Sheffield buys the table for $350 and it is a 5 times mark up when they sell it too the customer.  IF YOU  WANT  BAD SERVICE AND HIGH PRICE FURNITURE THAN SHOP AT SHEFFIELD FURNITURE  AND INTERIORS  on Rockville Pike. in Maryland

  1. Sheffield Furniture & Interiors is Bad.

    Was greeted by sales person with pink hair. Explained I needed to speak with a designer as I had questions with what to do with my new home furniture wise. She said she was a designer and does the store displays.

    Even though she didn’t seem interested in helping me, I figured she must be qualified. I looked around and saw dated, plain, displays with no imagination she says she did. No thanks. Turned around and left.

  2. Sheffield Furniture & Interiors Never again!

    The furniture is beautiful, but my experience is once you pay, you wait and wait AND WAIT!!! I was promised a Saturday delivery within ten weeks, which is long enough. As week ten passed, I called. After many calls and no return calls, I was contacted just past week 12, to be told that the only delivery I could have was on a Tuesday. I finally got in touch with the manager who offered no solution and said he would get back to me.

    Luckily I am not desperate for the furniture. I asked for a refund if they couldn’t figure out delivery, and he said he would call me back! I live less than ten miles from the showroom. So far all I am getting horrible service from sales (Leslie never returns calls), delivery and the store manager. Never again!

  3. I will not shop here again.

    I agree with the previous reviewer who said the furniture is lovely but the service is terrible.. We ordered a cabinet and were told it would take 10-16 weeks for a custom order. The 16 weeks came and went and no call about a delivery. I e-mailed the designer who said, oops, sorry, it was going to take an additional three months. He assured us that it would be here for Christmas, and instead he now says mid-February.

    This apparently is the furniture designer’s “policy” (6 months) for special orders. And the salesman didn’t know that? It is their major line. I would chalk this up to “these things happen” except we also had a bad experience when we bought another piece of furniture a year ago. That was mostly about rude responses when we tried to schedule the delivery, as well as a long delay past the time promised at the time of purchase. Again, we had to contact them, they didn’t try to reach out to us. A totally disappointing and aggravating experience. I will not shop here again.

  4. He is careful and conscientious and comes up with cost effective solutions to design issues.

    We’ve had 8 pieces of furniture reupholstered. Mistakes were made on two of them and the store took them back and is redoing them at no extra charge. The others look beautiful.

    A great designer from the store, John Hutson, has suggested many creative ideas for enhancing our apartment. He is careful and conscientious and comes up with cost effective solutions to design issues.

    What a beautiful store. An Interior designer came out to my home and put together a gorgeous room for me.

    Including helping me choose the paint colors and designing window treatments for me. I had a wonderful experience.

    This is my favorite furniture store in Rockville. It is so beautiful! My husband even seemed mildly interested 🙂 We came came in for a bedroom set and one of the staff helped us find one that fit well with our current decor and they even had a large selection of mattresses to choose from! Truly a great furniture shopping experience – we will definitely be back!
