Serena Greening- Bank of America
The Lack Of ResponsivenessWe initially contacted Serena Greening- Bank of America on May 18 about refinancing our condo, and she told us she had a loan available for us at a 4% interest rate.
A few days later she said the rate had gone up to 4.25 and suggested that we float it.
Every headline I read suggested that rates were on their way up so that seemed strange to me, but I figured this was her business and she would know better.
When we had all or documents ready to submit the loan, her team didn’t respond for about a week.
When they finally sent us the loan application, the rate on the application was 4.65%.
A few days after we submitted the application we got a letter from the bank saying our rate was 5.3%, and it wasn’t locked down yet.
We called Serena hoping this was a mistake, but unfortunately it wasn’t.
Was she misleading us about the available rates for us, or does she simply not know her business? Either way, we are very disappointed about the lack of responsiveness and bad advice, and would never recommend her services.
Serena told me a few times how she just loves figuring out the right mortages for people
I worked with Serena Greening at Triton and highly recommend her. She is one of the most competent, honest, and caring people I have ever done business with!
I was a first time homebuyer with not greatest credit rating and was more than a little intimidated by the house buying process. Serena found me a great mortgage in record time. She was incredibly patient — she took the time to explore many different mortgage options and explain every detail to me about each one.
Serena told me a few times how she just loves figuring out the right mortages for people — “it’s like a puzzle, and I just love it!” Serena is a very kind person who genuinely delights in helping people.
Not highly recommended.
Serena helped me get a re-fi, was super helpful, easy to work with, highly prompt and professional; she said up front that she thought she could probably beat the rate my bank was offering, and then did it.
I see someone here gave her a low review because she wasn’t an ideal employer (oops, there goes your job recommendation!) to which I say: who cares? From my end — the customer — she was excellent No – Not highly recommended.
Serena and her associate Lucy were just Not great
Serena and her associate Lucy were just great – we had an offer to refinance from Bank of America and were close to signing when my partner spoke with Serena – sure glad we did! She was able to get us a much better rate, and even got us an open home equity line of credit – which B of A had told us was impossible.
B of A tried to lure us back to their re-fi by lowering the rate, but still wouldn’t go as low as what Serena had found for us. We do have good credit, so can’t say how this would have gone otherwise, but overall, we couldn’t have been more happy with her helpful service and especially the results!
