They do not back up their product

I regret buying my sofas from them. Totally overpriced. I paid 18,000.00$ for two sofas. The supposedly treated leather stains and the stains cannot be removed. Roche Bobois has the poorest customer service I have ever encountered. They do not back up their product, are not responsive, will not warranty and simply don’t care. You better buy your furniture at a different store. They should learn from Costco what customer service means in the US and not their French attitude.

  1. Roche Bobois should be ashamed - Never to buy again

    Customer Service at Roche Bobois does not take customer service or complaints seriously. They prefer to ignore. Take your money and not deliver furniture in the timeframe promised. Shame on Roche Bobois.

    I am very upset with Roche Bobois. We placed a very large consumer order with Roche Bobois back in May, from their New Jersey store. We are long-time customers and loyal fans of their beautiful brand. To solidify our large furniture order, for a new home, we were told 14-18 weeks for delivery. We needed delivery by the end of September, latest, as our son is getting married in mid October and we have guests coming to stay at our unfurnished home. We were told our delivery would come sooner than later….and we should call in August to get
    the delivery date. We called in August and, after repeated calls, someone finally replied. We were told our order will not arrive until November or December. It’s been 6 months!!!Now they say they never said 14-18 weeks. They lied. This experience with Roche Bobois, candidly, has been riddled with inconsistencies, uncertainties, and confusion, from the time of our initial purchase to the invoicing process – where our receipt could not be printed, where our receipt was consistently wrong (inflated), where we were double billed on payment, and where our repeated request for delivery updates was left unanswered. This overall experience is not fair business practice annd acceptable. When we tried to cancel our orders, we were told that was not possible. We should Sue, but I don’t have the time. Early October is too late! I am not asking for special, unfair treatment, as your misleading salesperson is suggesting, but rather the fair, timely, and accommodating service that we have come to expect from Roche Bobois.

    Shame on Roche Bobois. They will never receive our business again and I will go to great lengths to warn fellow consumers of their shenanigans

  2. Roche Bobois the worst customer service ever

    I regret buying my sofa in Roche Bobois Luxembourg. I had a 10 year guarantee that could never use. I consider this a scam from this company. the sofa had quality problems for day one. I paid eur 5000 for this sofa losing feathers and the internal support broke at the second year of normal use. When we called the customer service using the guarantee roche bobois offer to repair charging again more money. I find this proceed not acceptable. When we complained they never answered. I really Don’t recommend anybody to buy any furniture with this brand.

  3. They clearly aren't interested in providing customer service

    Now it seems the underlying support, which is apparently just nylon staps, has become so worn that the cushions, while firm b/c we replaced the foam, are starting to sag and are no longer supportive. They are throwing our spines off kilter and literally screwing up our backs. Same drill. Tried RB first and got a ridiculous response after about 30 days.

    They clearly aren’t interested in providing customer service or enticing a customer to return for more. Bottom line, if you like the way they look and don’t plan to sit on them, they’re great. If you actually plan to use RB seating, know a good upholsterer to maintain them as RB doesn’t stand behind their product and is a pain to deal with post sale.

  4. The Worst Comapny

    Bought a two seat sofa and two matching club chairs from them about 10 years ago. Always get compliments. They are beautiful pieces, to be sure, but they need servicing. .. . again. The original foam in the cushions was low grade and wore out after 7 years.

    Reached out to RB for help, expecting them to at least put me in touch with with an upholstery pro that they rely on for such things. Figured I didn’t want to send such fine goods to just anyone.

    Local folks were no help. Sent me to NY store and they, too, were no help. In fact, they all seemed annoyed to hear from me. Gave up on RB, found someone nearby and took a chance.

    Excellent floor design! Definitely worth a visit! Super easy to access from the Metro.

  6. Try an American/ local company.

    So we went to Roche Bobois looking for a leather sectional of best quality, something that would last us a decade! To my surprise and disappointnment the stitches start falling off after a month…

    we purchased late , received the item late July and noticed the problem in September. Since then we have been chasing them to get this fixed.They had one person come in to hand stitch and he made it worse..They are not responsive and are giving us the run a round.

    I wish we never purchased from them, not sure if it is the company or the French attitude..I am still chasing them up the corporate ladder The Chevy Chase crew are useless…don’t go there, don’t buy from them… Try an American/ local company.

    Takes to long to receive furniture and if damaged, you have to wait another 5 months. Not worth the wait.

    This store is absolutely beautiful! The furniture in the showroom is incredible, we can appreciate the quality of details as they are all made in Europe. The staff is very knowledgable, especially,

    the manager Taina who we worked with. She created a 3D design for our home and even took the time come out to our home with fabric selections! We love our pieces, the delivery team is great. Very satisfied! Will highly recommend to our friends and family!
