I take great pride in being in the service industry. Taking care of people is my profession. Taking the time to review a sales encounter provides valuable insight. I truly enjoy commending positive service. I rarely send negative reviews. My experience at the Largo Town Center location was both positive and challenging. Loren Martin was superb. I have never seen anyone that determined to close a sale. He showed commitment, flexibility and forethought to get the job done. He’s a true asset.
Now the challenges. Loren informed us that both purchased pieces were in the warehouse and would be delivered on our chosen date. Unfortunately one piece wasn’t. Loren quickly convinced us to take the floor model. We were comfortable with the idea. The sale admin. could not close our order without a manager’s override. The manager was not on property. I was told he went to the subway station to drop someone off. 25 minutes later I asked the sales admin when the manager would return to close the deal. She had no idea. The manager returned 5 minutes after (approx. 30 minutes) with a grocery store bag in hand. The deal was closed shortly after. He apologized offering me water. Not quite what I needed at the time.
My 2nd concern. I’ve purchased 4 rooms of furniture at this location. You exercise poor use of your customer historical files. I had to ask if you had history on my purchases. When told yes… there was no thank you or anything for my loyalty. Thanks again to Loren!!! I might have to look elsewhere in the future.

  1. No wonder they are always hiring.

    My wife and I came in and there were 5 sales people at the desk. Not one came to see what we needed. It took 20 minutes of just looking around to realize I didn’t want to give them my money. As we were walking out, the finally ran up to us in desperation.

    I have a good heart so I gave the guy a chance. I told him I wanted something soft and grey, for a couch. He showed us nothing but brick hard couches that weren’t even the right color, did he even listen?

    The entire time he just went on and on about the quality of their competitions products. Just down right disrespectful and unprofessional. No wonder they are always hiring.

    The new sofa I bought, fell apart at the start, they won’t let me get something else even though I will spend more money, I am 69 years old and the only user of the sofa and I do not have a herd of Elephants living with me.

    Also they sent the wrong color when I told them, they said that was the color, no it was not there is a difference between Cranberry and Mulberry

    I only put one star because I had to because if I had my way they would not get any stars from me but I cancel my furniture since February they had not deliver nothing to me every month change to the next month,

    so I cancel my credit card that was given to menever want to do business at their store on Baltimore National Pike their employers their are too dishonest buyers beware.

    I was also told that all of the merchandise could possibly be in by the 29th of December. On the 26th-27th of December tried to call the Capitol Heights location but the phone lines were down. On Dec 29th i called the customer service number and got routed to your Largo location. i spoke with a lady named Sherry at your Largo location and she informed me that the phone lines were down at the Capitol Heights location.

    I tried to see if she could look up my information and she told me she could not. I asked her for another number or email address to someone who would be able to help and she said that she could not help me. I was trying to get an update on my order and she made it seem as if there was nothing she could do. i understand that she may not have been able to do anything, however, she was VERY rude and unwilling to help me locate my merchandise or check the status of my merchandise.

  5. I am pass pissied about this.

    I went in to the store to look at mattress and the sale man sold me 2 set and a bed and told me it would be 5-7 days that was on the 9/7/18. So when I called the first time to check on delivery they gave they said it would be the 9/18. I asked why and they told me the saleperson should have never told me 5-7 days.

    I said ok no problem so when the 18th came no one called to tell me anything. I called and they told me it would be the 24th I ask why no one called to tell me this I was told that they don’t call to tell you your order is going to be late. Now here it is the 26th and now i’m being told that it will be the 10/1 before they even get the furniture in the warehouse. I am pass pissied about this.

    Shop here at your own risk! The in store staff was nice and courteous. Choosing and paying for the furniture is the easy part but everything goes downhill after. I made a purchase on October 9th for a bed frame and mattress. Its January 2nd and I’m still waiting. I call the store, I’m told to talk to customer service. I talk to customer service, I’m told to wait. Each call is wait, wait, wait. I email customer service, no response.

    Then after months I’m told my purchase was a special order and takes 12-14 weeks. Regency Furniture has poor customer service. They care nothing about the satisfaction of their customers. Communication is lacking with this company. And when you do get a response from them, the response is to wait.
