Payroll scam
A man sent me a message saying, “Good, you will be working as payroll assistance, you will be working 3 times a week as payroll, noting required from you, no skills, no fees cost, no experience. You will be sending fund to staff and coworker around the state and where it might needed too, your weekly wages is $500 including staff bonuses. All wages paid only on Friday. If you are willing too, honest and trustworthy person is needed. Hope to Hear from you if are interested. To start this training go to https://walmart.moneygram.com sign up an account with them and get back to me once you are done ok and we can proceed.” He never asked me to print checks but he never asked me for any personal information for someone who was supposed to be handling company money. Walmart wouldn’t take the bank account he sent so he had me download western union. Gave me another account when the previous didn’t work and this one asked for a login. He tried to get me to skip it instead of giving me the info. Red flags everywhere, I was hoping it was legit but I can’t ignore the signs.
