I found a listing that I was really interested in on Street Easy and contacted Gail.
When we went to the unit, it was everything I wanted at the price I wanted. I was ready to sign right there and told Gail that.
She had another showing after mine and SPECIFICALLY promised me that the unit was mine.
I stepped out for 2 minutes (literally 2 minutes!) to call my guarantors to inform them of my decision and to send everything to Gail’s email address.
Upon returning to complete my paperwork, and waiting for her in the lobby to open the door no less, I found out that she had allowed another applicant (that appointment after mine) to sign during the 2 minutes I was gone!
Gail then promised me that she “will find me something better…I promise!” Lies.
I’ve heard nothing from her, certainly not a “first look” at the unit(s) she promised as consolation – again, empty promises.
Do not trust her under any circumstances. I understand that the market is competitive, but in the 2 minutes I took to make a phone call, she reneged!
Questionable business practices from a shark. Period. I definitely can’t recommend her or her firm. 0/5 stars if I could.
