I am a service contract holder with Presidential and had an appointment scheduled for between 1-4 p.m. on December 1 for the furnace service. At 3:50 p.m. I called to check on the status of the tech and the office said he was running late and would at my house at 4 or soon after. At 5:10 p.m. he had still not shown up. I called the office they were closed so I coded in the emergency service prep and asked that the appointment be cancelled since I had waiting 4 hours. The person handling the call was nice and I got a call back from the emergency tech who was apologetic at first but then gave me some lip. I am not sure why an office would close their office with techs still out and why techs don’t keep their clients posted on progress. Unacceptable.
