Pottery Barn
I am very disappointed in Pottery Barns servicesI came to pottery barn to purchase gifts off of my cousins registry. I recently had a baby and had limited time to order my gift online and purchase wrapping paper to make it look nice for my cousins engagement party that next weekend. Little did I know at the time that doing it myself would have taken a lot less time then actually going to the store!!!! It took over forty five minutes just for them to find the gift in the store, and then they had to enter my name in the registry which ended up being a failure and not working in the long run. A big reason I wanted to go to the store is because I wanted it gift wrapped, I live right near the Clarendon store and thought it would be nice to receive everything in person instead of online. What a mistake!!! After being told they didn’t have the right box to fit my gift in, I asked for a gift wrap. Many eye rolls later, the staff was working on wrapping my gift. It took so long that I left to go to Origins, next door to purchase something. When I came back the woman that was helping me was complaining about having to gift wrap my $200 purchase, I actually heard her say (in a derogatory way) “she is too busy to wrap her gifts so she needs us to gift wrap her gifts for her.” I thought to myself, Isn’t that the point of coming into the store in the first place? What ever happened to a little customer service? I am so disappointed in the staff they choose to employee in this store. One hour later and after much stress I finally had the gifts in my hand to give my cousin for her engagement party. This experience left me feeling upset and unhappy that I didn’t spend my money elsewhere.
