The Receptionists Were Rude/Unhelpful
o begin, the receptionists were rude/unhelpful on the phone. I had called two separate times to get information on STI treatment and both times the clerks gave me a different estimate of cost for simple antibiotic treatment, ranging from $40-120!
When we arrived in person they were unwilling to see us for treatment, and told us we could do a urine test only, even though it was a known exposure and we had already paid to get testing elsewhere.
They gave us a different estimate in person in addition to this claiming it was “40 for the appointment, 45 for each treatment, and 45 for each test”, totaling to $220 for each person!
I knew for a fact that we could get appropriate help at another Planned Parenthood, so we made an appointment in Fresno on First St, we were seen right away, the receptionist signed us up for family pact right away, and we were treated for free without doing testing – and out the door within an hour!!!
Do NOT go to this clinic unless they give you services for free, they are determined to take advantage of patients that have nowhere else to go!
