Do NOT use Pike Creek Mortgage Services! Mark Coffman has to be the very best example of the worst possible customer service ever.
We were given a commitment letter that our payment would be 1000.77, and when we asked Michelle Peters in an email if that included everything (taxes, interest, and insurance), she said yes.
My husband got a call from Mark four days later stating very coldly that Michelle was wrong and the amount will be 1220.00 +… We have been dicked around when it came to our closing date… first it was 4/20… now it MIGHT be 4/30 “at the latest”… after we made it clear we needed out of our apartment by 5/1.
We were also told our loan was approved and then got a denial letter.
Apparently the date supplied by the seller when he acquired the deed to the home was incorrect so we were forced to resign and resubmit all of the paperwork reflecting new dates, including the same damn tax information and pay stubs we already gave them!
When I called to vent my frustration to Mark, he called my husband and proceeded to insult me.
My husband told me what was said and I was furious! Never EVER go through this company!
It has soured our first time home buying experience, and with me being 4 months pregnant, I certainly didn’t want or need this ridiculous amount of stress.
