Pendrick Capital Partners LLC

A week back, I received a call from an agent from Pendrick Capital Partners, LLC telling me that I owe money and I must pay the debt as soon as possible. I asked to identify the company from where he was calling and the real creditor’s name. However, he continually tried to talk me into the problems I would get into if not paid at the earliest.

The problem is that I do not remember any such debt and failing of him to help me recognize the debt made me fishy about the whole situation. I work in a company and earn well enough to pay my debts. There was no reason I could have forgot about it unless I missed on something. That was the reason I even gave that person a chance to clarify things and help me remember about the debt.

Later, I disconnected the call asking for a complete information and not calling until then. I got a call an hour back while I was driving to my office. I could not pick up the call. I got the notification for an email which I checked right after arriving to my office.

The letter said that I owed about $400 from some company and the name was not mentioned. There was a last date to settle the amount. And, the other option was the dispute the debt. I replied to the email asking for more information. I got to know that the person who called was from Pendrick Capital. However, the mail did not say anything about the creditor. Moreover, there was no bill attached to the email. Neither there was any document that I ever signed.

I also asked them to show me the proofs of the debt owned. Or, I would approach my lawyer and the consumer financial consumer bureau and let them investigate the situation. I understand that I could have missed not that huge amount. Everyone makes mistakes. However, I needed proofs.

Since then, I have not received any replies from this company. However, the calls won’t stop. They did not even send any acknowledgement for the received mail. I am not sure if they are prompt in replying to the consumers or they just sit and let the complaints stack up as if who cares.

These calls are harassing. I have to get up in the middle of the night to answer these people. But, these guys seems not to listen. I have told them numerous times to share the details of the debt. They disconnect when I start asking for things about the debt. And, then someone else calls with the same tone without bothering about what I have to say.

They have called a lot of people from my contact list as well. Few I know and some are just usual contacts. However, these guys are calling everyone who ever had any contact with me. This is ridiculous. These guys are sick. I am not paying until they send me proofs and if necessary, I will not think twice before taking any legal action against these scammers.
