  1. WHATEVER YOU DO, do NOT get a loan with these people.

WHATEVER YOU DO, do NOT get a loan with these people. If lord forbid you happen to be late, and you make payment arrangements they will LIE to you and tell you it is on time and then report it to the credit bureaus and ruin your credit for YEARS.

  2. Closing all accounts today and looking elsewhere for our current and future needs.

WOW! we have been long time customers of this credit union with two savings accounts and 1 checking. We were interested in a vehicle loan and a home equity loan plus were planning on making some CD investments. Holy incompetence….

I have yet to write many poor reviews on any business because I am pro small business but people should be warned. We had the worst experience here with loan officer Margie at the Arvada location.

Her awful customer service, response time and product knowledge was so sub-par, I was astounded. The simplest questions could not be answered related to fees, loan payments, home valuation and even what else we needed to provide to move things forward. Seriously.

Additionally, management is completely unavailable and so are underwriters to ask questions that can’t be answered by the loan officer. I must’ve asked 5 times via email or phone conversation what the related fees were for a loan and all I got was a best estimate and to refer to the website.

Wow. thanks. I wasted 10 days, plus a hard credit pull on my excellent credit for this nonsense. Closing all accounts today and looking elsewhere for our current and future needs.

  3. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST, IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY, AND SANITY!

I have lost all respect for PCCU, and have been with them since I was 16 years old. Back to when they were eagle legacy, and beyond. They did not help the customer as well as they used too. They have too many fees, 35.00 fee is instant, without giving you 24 hours to cover your overdraft fees, especially if you forget a bill is coming out you have set up.

They need more notification functions, and allow transfer apps to be used with this CU. Banks used to be the bad guy, now this CU has proven banks are all that bad anymore. Wells Fargo and Chase have done much better in the way of banking for the customer.

I am in the last will of working with PCCU, and customer service, by far the worse. So many headaches with this place, not worth staying, I plan to move on very soon….AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST, IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY, AND SANITY!

  4. Scammer

Hate this credit union. Am closing out my accounts today. – Went to apply for a credit card they told me my credit was exceptional and then denied me because my credit wasn’t good enough (785 FICO)
    – Went to apply for an auto loan and was approved but they told me I would have to be part of the first time buyers program and could only purchase a vehicle from a certain dealer who had nothing under $10,000 so I just bought my car outright.

-They sent me to a lady who handles the car loan process who told me I was being too emotional and couldn’t decide properly on which car I wanted. Told them to f off and then got a letter saying the auto loan I was approved for was denied.

I have no issues with other banks or credit unions. This one is just super disorganized and pathetic. There is a reason the locations are few and far between.
