Dr. Faktorovich was very attentive to me throughout my procedure and all the staff was alway friendly. I had the PRK surgery and was somewhat pleased with the result of my vision. My left eye did not come out as sharp as my right, so I have to squent to have 20/20 vision. About a month after surgery, I started having dry eye syndrom which would cause me to wake up having extremly painful scratches across one or the other eye.
I would have to go into the office to have a contact put on the eye and use antibiotics for about 4 days to heal. This started happening more and more often until now it happens most days of the week. I have spent a lot of money on expensive eye drops and gels to use at night with no changes.
After a year of going into the office with these painful scratches, they told me I could no longer come back in since my contract is over. They didn’t even tell me anything to do for my problems or where to go.
They told me that they knew beforehand that I had dry eye syndrom, but didn’t tell me the consequences I could face. I feel if they were honest, they should have reccommended me not to have the surgery! Now I have to go to a cornea specialist to see if they can help me somehow. I never knew this would leave me in such pain the rest of my life!
