No Responsiveness As Expected

Optimum First Mortgage is difficult to work with. I was seeeking a refinancing in March, sent Alfredo the required document and we discussed the rate and lock.

I waited for a long time without any rate lock. So I wrote a review about my experience.

That prompted management to to look into my loan. I was promised to have the loan processed fast.

Based on management feedback, I revised my review and added few stars.

Today, it is 6/30 and I am still in the darl on my loan. No responsiveness as expected.

The new loan officer that was processing the loan had a death in his family as I was told.

I emailed that loan officer offering my codolensces but asking about the status of my loan and informing the company that I have to seek another company due to the 3 months delay in its processing.

Unfortunately, I lost valuable time and gained nothing but frustration from my experience with this company.

I have no choice but to give this company one star so I be useful to potential customers in evaluating this company from my experience with them.

    I funded my loan with them and had no problem at all. They are one of the only companies I found that had 5 stars on Yelp of all the lenders I checked that were licensed in a lot of states.

    Came across this website and thought it was strange because I have funded a loan with this company and had no problems. They are licensed to do business in 10 states and have great reviews on a lot of different websites. There is no scam here, not sure what this website is doing.

    Michael was extremely responsive and helpful. He fixed all the errors that our previous refinance company made. We will definitely be referring our friends to Michael!

    (Our previous refi company was Cashcall. Do NOT go with this company. They are extremely friendly and responsive at first , but once they get your business, they are MIA. We had to go through the notary process TWICE because the first time, they misspelled my husband’s name.

    They also said that they were going to remove my parents’ names from the title. They did NOT fix any of these mistakes. Michael made sure that everything was corrected.)

    This company worked very hard to make sure I was a satisfied customer after a misunderstanding with one of their reps. The management of this company wants to make sure it’s customers are happy. Give them a try.

    We worked with Brandon Castaneda on a loan to put in a pool. Brandon was responsive, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented. He made the process effortless! I couldn’t believe how easy he made it. He worked with the underwriter to make sure we sailed through.
