Wast of Time

The absolute bottom of the barrel. Today I found out that my closing has been delayed a 4th time.

This is the second time I’ve been informed the day before the closing was scheduled.

Initially, there was no rush and I’ve been patient. But for some reason, this company cannot close a deal with 8 to 10 weeks notice.

The third closing date I was told the day before (10/14/15) that they just received paperwork that day and needed 1 to 3 days to review.

They told me that after having me to rush across town to get another document from the HOA’s management company.

If they needed 1 to 3 days to review, you’d think they’d let me know about the postponement earlier than the day before the scheduled closing.

The fourth scheduled closing date, I was informed that they, NuHome, did not provide the underwriter with all they need, so again, the closing is delayed. That was today, 10/22/15.

It’s like the loan processors have no sense of urgency nor do they care one bit how disruptive they are to your lives.

They treat business like it’s a can of peas mis-marked at the grocery store.

Use at your own risk. I’m not convinced they will ever close for their buyer.

I’ll get to keep their customer’s earnest money, but I put up for sale because I really do want to sell.

NuHome is making it impossible by delaying the process for months now.

I really hope to prevent someone from wasting their time on this company.

Do yourself a favor and go straight to a reputable lender.

  1. She is also blessed with a strong work ethic, great charm, and a fine sense of humor.

    Having known David Clements for a while now, I can’t praise him enough. He worked hard to shepherd my loan through the process and sometimes anticipated a question or problem before I was aware of it myself. He always returned my calls and emails promptly, even when it was inconvenient for him.

    He knows his job inside and out, is professional and yet down to earth, and consistently shows a willingness to go the extra mile for his clients combined with a great sense of humor. Simply put, David Clements is as good as it gets.

    Nayely Cornejo was new to me, but it was a joy to meet her and work with her. She was always willing to take or return my calls even when she was swamped with work, and she never failed to answer my questions fully and knowledgeably.

    She is also blessed with a strong work ethic, great charm, and a fine sense of humor. I always enjoyed talking with her, and she made a normally somewhat stressful experience a lot smoother for me than it otherwise would have been.

  2. Bad Service Provide

    Nuhome group is working to close a loan that is now 20 days past the original closing date with no end in sight. Throughout this process they have failed to openly communicate with any party involved, they have not even had the common curtesy to provide any updates until several days after each deadline was missed.

    Due to their lack of follow through my wife, 1 yr old daughter, and I have been living in an empty house for a month and will not be able to enjoy Christmas in the same fashion as the people a Nuhome will with their families.

    Their delays have cost us hundreds if not a few thousand extra dollars at Christmas time and the financial burdens will continue until they can clear this loan to close. I am disgusted at their inability to communicate, and follow through with their responsibilities as a home lender.

    This is my second review of Nuhome group. My wife, 18 month old daughter and i have now been living in an empty house with only an air mattress and card table for furniture for the last 30+ days due to Nuhome’s lack of ability to do their job.

    they continue to fail to communicate any information within the time-frame they themselves set! i understand if you have a difficult file and it takes time to get things done,

    but it does not take any extra time to make a phone call or send an email to the parties involved so that we are not left waiting for information that is not coming. this is now more than 5 times within the 30+ days past the original close date that we have been told “we will give you an update” and they have failed to do so.

    i am past being upset that Nuhome has not been able to get the “clear to close” on the file we are all so anxiously waiting on and would at least settle for some communication and meeting a slef imposed deadline even if it is just them telling us “we are still working on it and have no new information yet”
