So the first few times I went to North Fresno Primary Care I had to wait FOREVER in the room to be seen.
I’m talking like 30 mins once you’re in the room.
Then, I had a yearly physical done where they ran tests and did blood work.
So two weeks later I came back for them to read my results and was informed.
I needed to pay a copay (odd…I’ve never paid a copay to have results just read to me off a paper before)
Then I’m called back by the nurse who asks ‘so why are you here today?’
And I say ‘uhhh to have my physical panel results read to me?’ and the nurse had no idea about it.
After some scrambling, they come back and inform me that they have completely lost my bloodwork.
They’re not sure if it ever even made it to the lab. Like ???? So they apologize and say they will redo the tests that day.
I always have a bad time getting my blood drawn. My veins are small and deep in my arm.
So I was very unhappy to hear I would need to have the tests redone.
However, I was greeted by a woman who introduced herself as the head phlebotomist at the office.
She proceeded to stab me FIVE TIMES in one arm and THREE in the other only to end up giving up and looking at me with a remorseful look saying ‘maybe you should just come back another day.
So I leave the office with two arms full of needle wounds and NO BLOODWORK.
They did refund my copay at least, but what the hell? How do you lose my bloodwork?
How does your head phlebotomist not know how to draw blood?
I have not been back to this office since this incident happened a few months back and will not return.
