My family and I moved to wichita awhile ago and have yet to find a decent family doctor.
We heard about North Amidon Family Physicians from a bunch of people so we decided to call and try to get an appointment.
The first call we were immediately put on hold, then hung up on.
The second time it rang and hung up… then a third and a fourth.
When we finally got through the woman on the other end said they were busy and put us on hold.
After five minutes or so, we were hung up on again.
We called back and she finally asked us what we were calling for.
After explaining that we were looking for a new doctor and wanted to schedule an appointment, she asked what insurance we had.
We told her. She then asked well where did you get it from, like through your work? I said no through the marketplace.
She proceeded to tell me that the doctors there had been in practice for a long time and that they weren’t accepting patients.
Every website I had searched said great things and that they were in fact accepting new patients… I guess I’m not the quality of patient they are looking for.
Don't go to this Dr's office.
Don’t go to this Dr’s office. The front desk staff is as rude as can be. If someone named June answers just hang up, she is the rudest medical front desk person I have ever encountered. Pleases save yourself some frustration and look elsewhere.
