Really really disappointing. I arrived excited to get a spa session 3 days before my wedding. I arrived at 5pm and by the time I got through the check-in process and got to my locker, it was 5:09. My 50min massage didn’t start until 5:12 (5:15 after I got undressed) and it finished at 5:50pm, so it was essentially a 35min massage for $160. I explained to situation to the manager, Samantha, and all she said was, I’m sorry for your experience and that my session actually started at 5, but I’ll give feedback back to the staff.

I 100% acknowledge that they tell us to arrive 15min early to enjoy the amenities but they don’t tell us it cuts into our appointment time. By principle, you should get the service you pay (at minimum the time) and unfortunately, they don’t abide by that here.

    If you’ve been to a really nice, high end spa before in your life then you will likely be disappointed by the Nob Hill Spa.

  2. she didn't even give me a printed brochure to take home I had to ask for one.

    I went to the Nob Hill Spa to celebrate my birthday but also a great day with a group of my girl friends. Half of my group (including myself) was staying in the hotel and the hotel concierge were very accommodating in upgrading our room the day of! Definitely no complaints in the main hotel area.
    However, when booking the spa – I walked in to book the reservation since I live right up the block and thought it would be easier to just to make it in person. Definitely not the case!

    I went in on a Friday afternoon (around 12:30/1PM) and the spa was unable to book my reservation on site. I just found it very odd, she told me I would have to call the phone number and gave me a business card. I asked, why I wouldn’t be able to book then, and she said that “I have to book with the spa groups coordinator, Kayla, who wasn’t in that day.” I told her that’s fine, but she wasn’t helpful, she didn’t even give me a printed brochure to take home I had to ask for one.

    I suppose their location really limits what they can offer, but still. The pool is just meh, and the attendants that run around everywhere talk so loudly, it’s really hard to try and relax amidst their gossiping.

    The surroundings are beautiful–the facials are ho-hum. The customer service is AWFUL. They had no record of an appointment I HAD actually cancelled and charged me for it with no apology. I only called a couple of times to try and “right” the situation but gave up as talking to them made me feel too terrible to try again.
