I had a root canal done at a wonderful endodontist and had the crown done at New32 dentistry with Dr. Gilmore. I paid cash and put a lot of money up front but the service and attitude we got was unfortunately not what we anticipated. Once the crown was put in, there was a significant amount of pain and Dr. Gilmore was not happy to have to look at it again and said that this is not a problem with the crown but must be an issue with the tooth. The bottom line was, I was told that there is nothing more that they can do.
The pain continued and mya dentist who I paid so much money to was not ready to back up the work and blamed it on other issues. After just one post crown check-up I had to go back to the endodontist (who was always so nice and gracious) and ask that she do me a favor and adjust the crown which New32 put in!!! After A FEW visits/adjustments, all was well.
I did not feel that after paying close to $1300, that I should pay the final $200 or so to New32 considering that they did not back up their work etc etc but ultimately, I was ready to pay but hoped for at least an apology or an acknowledgment considering the tremendous emotional stress that was experienced throughout the ordeal. Instead I got a very unkind response telling me something to the effect of “Maybe you should have just pulled the tooth!”
I can’t understand what that is to mean being that the tooth is fine, all it needed was for the crown to be adjusted a few times… but sadly I am still being told that this was somehow my fault and that my remaining bill will be sent to collections… I don’t like writing negative reviews but the job was terribly mishandled and I felt extremely mistreated.
