New Serenity Spa

Not worth the money you spend

I received a gift certificate for my birthday for a Hydra Facial and was so excited. I booked the appointment and was a little late arriving. It was supposed to be 30 minutes and ended up being more like 22. The treatment costs $149.00!

Not worth the money you spend. I was rushed and was never made to feel relaxed or “serene”. Only one product was applied to my face their reasoning being “those products cost a lot of money”.

Well, so does the treatment. Spend the extra $50 and go to the Well & Bing Spa at the Princess and get a 60 minute treatment. I won’t e going back or recommending this to anyone.

  1. I highly recommend this spa.

Last weekend my sister and closest friends hosted a bachelorette party at New Serenity Spa. We had an amazing experience. The spa was able to accommodate all 7 of us for facials and massages.

After the treatments we had champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and cheese and crackers in a beautifully decorated room. The staff was so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this spa.

  2. I really felt welcome and pampered.

This was my first visit. Got a Christmas gift certificate. Enjoyed the visit so much I signed up for the VIP package and got money back! I highly recommend Diane. Fabulous massage and very personable. The receptionist was over the top sweet also. I really felt welcome and pampered.

  3. I will be back on my next trip to Scottsdale!

Had a great facial with Casey. They were able to accommodate me on fairly short notice, prices are reasonable and Amy at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. I will be back on my next trip to Scottsdale!

  4. I am sooo disappointed about this Spa.

I am sooo disappointed about this Spa. As much as I loved my massage therapist at this place but I had to find another due to lack of care that this company showcased. In a nut shell, I called to make an appointment for the same day massage (the last appointment at 8pm) due to a persistent headache,

then I had to cancel within couple of hours since my situation got worst and I started vomiting, so they charged my Card anyway because I didn’t give them 24 hours notice. They earned $87 and lost a client, way to go Serenity… btw, I sent a msg to the owner about 2 weeks ago and so far no respond. That is why I am here….

  5. I won't be coming back.

Quite frankly, this was a bad experience. Finding parking was a nightmare, way too many busy businesses and not enough spots. From that point on, every thing just seemed off. I felt rushed, as if I wasn’t important. At times, it felt like the massage therapist was distracted with something personal going on.

At the end of the massage, they told me that the special that I booked wasn’t actually valid on this day? That would have been nice to know about before I started the massage. Oh well. I won’t be coming back.

  6. I moved to Scottsdale in Jan of this year and am very loyal to small businesses after I find a good one.

I moved to Scottsdale in Jan of this year and am very loyal to small businesses after I find a good one. I found New Serenity on yelp and after reading all the great reviews I thought I should try them out. My first vist was great, I had a facial and massage back to back.

The second time I went in my husband called in and booked me a massage and paid over the phone with his card, that was a great massage. The third time I went again good service, and I decided to sign up for their membership, this is where things went downhill. The membership is a great deal if you get a few massages a month, the problem happened with the billing. I gave my CC # on the sign up form, this was authorizing a monthly auto debit.

The first month my husbands card was charged, his card should have never been assoicated with this. I called and they refunded his card after a week, and I cancelled my membership. The next month I was charged again without authorizing. I called and asked for this to be refunded and deleted and they said it would be a creidt for my next visit,
