Two years ago, when I needed a firm to serve me with some tax related service, I approached Gilbert J. Munoz from tax advice simplified. They affirmed me about the resolution of my tax returns, in return I had to supply them with the information they demanded as well as $950. After that all I got from them was a paradoxical statement from them saying that neither were they hired by me to file changed tax returns for me with Internal Revenue Service, nor were they hired to get into agreement with IRS on my behalf for equalizing the tax’s debt which incurred.
Moreover, they suggested me to file a dummy tax return with all information available and see if the number given by IRS was correct. This is when I told them to request IRS to submit a copy of CP2000. They said if, according to IRS’s mathematics I was correct then no changes in tax returns would be necessary while on the other hand I will also have some more options to settle my tax debt.
My question for them is, should I hire another CPA to prepare dummy tax return instead of yours? The agreement that we made did not mention accurately that you weren’t hired to prepare tax returns. I claim $950 back; not only for providing me with zero outcome but also for the ignorance that I faced by not answering my calls and e-mails.
It should be a shame for your CPA to know that another CPA when approached by me after I got frustrated from yours, did the same work only in 2-day time interval charging me $750. I wish I had never asked Munoz to do my taxes. The company is a scam and unprofessional. I was caught into false promises and when they recognized that I was not a fool, they started ignoring my calls.
Is this what a firm does to its clients? Munoz and company is a pit hole and if you want to find good CPAs, never contact them or you will end up getting frustrated and losing your money. These guys are not the one whom you can ever trust.
