I met with Monzingo Jeff, CPA in early March to have our taxes done. I was quoted $250 to $400 to complete my taxes.
For the next month and 1/2 until tax day I could get very little response as to what was happening with my return except that they were very busy completing more complicated returns than ours.
Finally we were able to meet on Friday the 13th before taxes were due when they hit me with a $935 bill for their work.
No logical explanation as to why ours was so “complicated” and no communication ever from the office that something was difficult about our return. I will never use them again.
I felt I was scammed simply because we had a large return coming to us.
