I recently purchased two appliances (fridge and washing machine there). The sales service was decent. However, the delivery service is a disaster and is probably the reason I will no longer purchase anything there. The scheduling person a) does not plan things very thoughtfully, and b) does not communicate well/at all.
For the fridge delivery, I had specifically stated it needed to happen after 11 am. I received a confirmation call the day before that said they would be there between 7 and 11 am. After some back and forth, they said they could move it to after 12 pm. At 10:30 am the next day, I received a text that said they would be there in 20 minutes.
The washer was even more fun. Was scheduled to arrive between 12 and pm, and I was to receive a call 30 minutes priort to delivery. At 4:40 pm I called to inquire and was told that they forgot to tell me they would be late, but they’d be there between 5:30 and 6. Too bad I had a commitment at that time.
So we rescheduled for the next day, same time window. Again, nobody showed up. At 6:30 pm (this was on a Saturday) somebody called and said they were on their way. Well, I was no longer home.
When I tried to reschedule, they could not accommodate the 2 days I requested and suggested, they could come out 8 days later, so 2 weeks and 2 days after the initial order was placed. Now I am taking time off at a new job to get the washer sooner.
This is customer service at its worst.
