MiLEND

Lot Worst

Promises made and were not kept, I believe MiLEND’S primary objective was to get the appraisal paid for.

This was not my first time refinancing so I asked for the disclosure several days before we were to close, needless to say I was not emailed the report until the night before closing.

I was refinancing my loan and was to receive cash out. They requested a lot of information to which I promptly gave them; this procedure took over two months.

The night before I found out that after paying off my original mortgage, there would be a balance of 27 thousand dollars to which I was to receive $424.00.

My interest rate was increasing and my monthly payments were going up an additional $230.

I called them and cancelled the closing, I lost my $450 appraisal fee but it could have been a lot worst.

I am a senior citizen but I have not lost my mind. CAVEAT EMPTOR.

  1. The communication is poor, what we were told verbally did not match the numbers in the closing docs.

They are fast, but lack integrity. Rates and closing costs change AFTER the appraisal. Their fees are outrageous, we did not get back the escrow we were due after being told multiple times by our agent we can expect this back to pay some bills.

The communication is poor, what we were told verbally did not match the numbers in the closing docs. Learn from our mistake, go with a lender with more integrity that will not lie to you and are not as greedy with their fees.
