Miguel Delgado, MD

Condescending attitude

I had breast augmentation by Dr. Miguel Delgado. I had a bad feeling during the pre-op exam, where he seemed very rushed and had a condescending attitude.

Miguel Delgado, MD told me that I needed different sized implants because one of my breasts was larger than the other. I ended up after surgery with uneven breasts.

One is obviously larger than the other, and now I have to have a revision done…but I am definitely going to a DIFFERENT doctor to get them re-done!!

  1. I really liked the breakfast in the hotel, sp the waffle.

The bus fair from the airport to the hotel and vice versa, and a portion of the hotel cost were covered by the doctor, which was nice of him. (Note: For any consequent secondary surgery(ies), you pay these cost 100%).

  2. Dr. Delgado performed a face/neck lift for me and did a wonderful job.

Dr. Delgado performed a face/neck lift for me and did a wonderful job. At 58 years old, I just wanted a little sprucing up and asked for subtle changes. He gave me exactly what I wanted. I am so pleased with the results.

The information packet provided regarding post surgery was very thorough and left no questions unanswered. It’s been 6 months now and I continue to be very happy with his work.

  3. People, proceed at your own risk!

I really don’t know where to start…it’s been about five years since my facelift, but I was perusing these reviews and realized my negative experience is still fresh in my mind. I came to Dr. Delgado with extreme enthusiasm from reading all his favorable reviews as well as pictures of his work on prior patients.

But I agree with one of the other reviewers that Dr. Delgado probably paid for the 5 star reviews. Kind of suspicious that there are all these 5 Star reviews and three or four one stars.
A 20% improvement following surgery, and $20,000+ down the drain. And after 18 mos, I couldn’t tell at all I had surgery. So depressing.

  4. Miguel Delgado, MD Scammer

I went in for a consultation with Dr. Delgado, and got turned away for revision eye lift surgery. I appreciated his concerns and comments, and he pointed out the problem with multiple revisions can lead to scaring, which doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure,

but I wanted him to talk in depth about the potential risks and such, but instead he proceeded to point out that “my impatience” is part of the problem after telling him I’ve been frustrated for months trying to get my eyes evened out.
