Mary Gallagher
It Was Shockingly Rude
Based upon a couple of the reviews, I called Ms. Gallagher regarding preparing my individual tax return.
That is what she represents she does after all, right? She asked that I tell her a bit about my “situation” and expectations, which are basic on both accounts.
After just a few minutes of speaking, she interrupted me and continued to interrupt me throughout a conversation which lasted maybe, 4 minutes, before summarily telling me that she had no interest and hung up!
I am not exaggerating one iota. I mean, what kind of professional, what kind of person, does that? It was shockingly rude.
It’s easy to find another CPA or tax pro and I was able to do so with little effort.
But in addition to working with someone who is proficient, I imagine that we all prefer working with someone who is respectful, as well.
On that account, I sincerely recommend considering someone other than Mary Gallagher.
