Mammoth Hospital

This Doctor And His Staff Could Care Less

This has been my worst experience with Mammoth Hospital. Nurses are great but the Doctor only gave enough pain medication for 2 days.

I had a Plateau fracture of my Tibia, among other major breaks of the inner tibia bone. Exceptional high pain level (8-10).

They could not wait to get me out of the hospital. Went in on Wednesday evening and they said we have to discharge you Friday early afternoon.

Still in excruciating pain, but that made no difference to them. Now my Norco pain medication ran out on Sunday.

Called them first thing Monday morning and they tell me you were discharged so we can’t give you anything now.

Called Dr.Crall office they tell me nothing we can do, find a doctor where you live.

Problem is you can’t get into any Doctor for 1-2 weeks. In the meantime you just suffer??

Never heard of anyone or anything so incredibly wrong. This doctor and his staff could care less after they rush you out.

Not sure what to do now. May try an emergency hospital to try to get my pain under control of possible and the doctor didn’t do something so wrong that its irreversible.

  1. receptionist Tom comes across the phone a little rude.

i have to be seen at the family clinic usually once a month for at the past year and a half and at the least I will phone in to make an appointment or call in a rx refill. i have had to change providers because of some inappropriate comments regarding my condition and options for treatment.

I was told that i have chosen to live in the area i do and therefore must deal with the lack of specialized physicians that i once had in the big city. in addition, when i do phone in to the clinic, receptionist Tom comes across the phone a little rude.

I just called before writing this review and Tom answered the phone and when i told him my name his response was “oh”. unprofessional as far as i’m concerned. If you dont like your job Tom, then quit. It seems that some, NOT ALL, of the staff at the sierra park family clinic forget that they are dealing with people who do not feel well or are in pain.

  2. Scammer

I understand you pay a premium for using ER facilities. I went in for a dislocated shoulder NOT FOR AN ASS-RAPING. I didn’t know they gouge you at every turn, with every line-item (except the arm sling).

I spoke to Jennifer, then her supervisor Andy and the supervisor’s supervisor Kelly. When I complained they wouldn’t budge 1 penny. There is a 25% discount for paying within 30 days of the bill date. Other than that, they said the prices are what is negotiated with the insurance company. There is no changing that.

This is why our American Health System is so damaged, corrupt, and expensive. Insurance allows this highway robbery and the doctors / hospitals take FULL ADVANTAGE! Who loses is the public since we pay OUT THE ASS for insurance premiums and then again OUT THE ASS for any incident.

  3. It's worth the wait! Never going here again!

Don’t get surgery!!! Suffered an AC separation vacationing here. Had to have it reconstructed. Service was fast and friendly…some of it anyway. Anesthesiologist was terrible, unprofessional and just plain bad at his job. Horrible intubation. Way too much anesthesia.

Behaved like a pissed off mechanic working on a jalopy. Surgery didn’t work out too well either. Bad communication and conflicting reports. Do yourself a favor. Go to a reputable hospital with a proven surgical team. It’s worth the wait! Never going here again!

  4. Take a course on people skills lady your are not a nice person.

Really sick of their night Doctor Jennie… so rude and uncaring. Next time I see her I will just walk out and treat myself. Take a course on people skills lady your are not a nice person.

  5. unprofessional and perfunctory in her indolent approach to her patients, for which she displays little care.

Mammoth Hospital rocks. Dr. Trammer in Family med, however, is in-compassionate, unprofessional and perfunctory in her indolent approach to her patients, for which she displays little care.
