Extremely Incompetent
I wish I could say I had the same positive experience as some of these other reviewers, but sadly that was not the case. Below is the email I just sent to Chaochin Lu:
After speaking with my mother this afternoon it has been decided that we sever all connection with you and Lynbrook Investment regarding the refinance of her home.
To discover today that absolutely nothing has been done this past month towards refinancing her house has me in shock and telling me it’s because you were on vacation part of the time is a pathetic excuse for why you dropped the ball on this.
As per your instructions I presume, your assistant just emailed me a blank application to fill out.
My question to you is what happened to the one I emailed back to you filled out 3 weeks ago (August 15th)? I’m looking at it right now in my sent folder!
Now I just find out that the income documents I sent you on August 25th have never been looked at since you weren’t aware they were even in your office.
How is that possible? As you just indicated in our phone conversation today, you do retrieve emails even away from the office.
So whether you are here of on the road, you should have seen the email that I sent you on August 25th telling you that I was sending you her documents overnight by way of “FedEx”.
Someone competent at their job after reading that would have notified their assistant to be on the lookout for them or at the very minimum would have made a note to oneself to look through them when you returned to your office.
Why were you surprised today when I told you I had sent them FedEx? Don’t you read your emails? I wasn’t about to email you documents that had her name, address and social security number on them since identity theft is something that thrives over email.
Instead, I did you the courtesy of letting you know beforehand how they would be arriving and when they would be arriving, but that’s only helpful if you bother to read your damn emails!
13 days have gone by since I sent them and you had not even looked at them or knew they were there.
If I hadn’t contacted you today for a progress report they would still be laying there unacknowledged.
You are either very distracted for whatever reasons or extremely incompetent, but either way we have lost all confidence in you as a lending professional and have no further use of your so-called services.
