Limbaugh Toyota

They're busy

Purchased a brand new 4Runner from Limbaugh Toyota that was up for the 5k check up and an audio update due to my radio resetting while driving . First time here so if I come back I’ll update (hopefully to be better).

But likely will not be back and try another location in hopes of more professionalism.

Called this morning to make an appointment and was told it’s first come first serve. Showed up at 10:45 and told it would be an hour.

Waited until 12:45 to ask what was up. Told I was next in line. Another hour later still waiting and told again I was next in line.

When I inquired why so long they said appointments must have come in and that some of the guys went to lunch.

Sydney- I believe is the guy who ‘helped’ me had 0/5 customer care skills.

Definitely did not make my first time experience with Toyota services a good one.

I understand having to wait for these things but being honest and giving an accurate presentation in the beginning is simple customer care.

I could have easily returned to work the other half of my day instead of taking off if I knew it would have been 3+ hours versus the 1 quoted and then again quoted wrong.

May also be less upset if somebody would have come to let me know of the delay but not even that. 2:30 and my car just pulled up.

Asked if the radio was reset and they said no and I could comeback tomorrow and it would only take 10 minutes.

Asked if somebody could do it now and they said no because they’re busy… lol wow. Lost an afternoon and half day of pay.

Thanks Toyota!

  1. Bad Service Provide.

I am deeply concerned about a recent report of an elderly person with cognitive impairment being taken advantage of in your dealership. Please explain, and consider how you would want your loved ones to be treated. Taking financial advantage of an impaired person is no way for a business to prosper, but doing the right thing will always be rewarded with good word-of-mouth advertising.

  2. Limbaugh Toyota isn't interested in making it right.

We went back on Monday and asked to see the loan application that my father had signed. We could not understand how a truck valued at $27,500 maximum retail (I looked it up via the vin # and verified it with several other dealers) could have been sold for the $42,204.58 that my father signed a contract for.

We also couldn’t understand how, on his fixed income, he could qualify for loan of $42,204.58 (after adding on the unnecessary extended warranty and the gap insurance and totaling $46,204.58 when the $4,000 he was given on his BMW trade in was taken into account). My father’s only income was his pension and there was no way my parents could afford the huge payment along with their mortgage and other debts.

  3. Dishonest and immoral.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from these creeps. Dishonest and immoral.

  4. I was told that it was illegal for them to show us that.

in fact I followed him into his office, along with my sobbing mother, and was quickly intercepted by Bo Zachary, who said he was “handling it”. Mr. Limbaugh couldn’t see the back of us fast enough and had already turned away from us before we could be shepherded out the door.

I then asked to see the finance manager and asked to see a copy of the loan application that was sent to the lender. I was told that it was illegal for them to show us that.

  5. never again!

the sales manager was nasty with a bad attitude ! After hangin up on me I went by the place to talk in person, I took it there for the warranty only and had long stays so the guy just lied as well as the transmission went out before the warranty was up and they wouldn’t honor it and I’m stuck with a year left paying it off and can’t drive in reverse

I asked to see Brian Limbaugh specifically,

this is the sec. car we have purchases, the first was a camera Mr. Allen Woodward was great he is the region . we came back , I didn’t give you a five stare is because if was not happy with your used car manager, but I guess u have to have people like him.

thank I feel like I have a good vehicle may have payed a little more than I wanted to but I guess that life , was a little diff. when we bought our new camera, the new car manager was great

  8. what a dump.

what a dump. need I say more

  9. Scammer

The attorney advised my parents to not allow the vehicle to be repossessed but to make the payments as scheduled, which they did for five months during which we received no word from Limbaugh Toyota. We finally got a very insulting counter offer on August 16 from their attorney, specifically:
“Based on the current value of the Culp vehicle, my client will,

subject to its inspection of the vehicle and its condition and mileage being satisfactory to it, repurchase the vehicle for $27,500 with your client paying off any lien on the vehicle. We would expect a release and statement from Mr. Culp and his spouse that he is competent to sign the release.

  10. Had a great experience with Limbaugh.

Had a great experience with Limbaugh. Amir got me I feel like is a great deal. I checked at another dealer and they told me they couldn’t touch it. It was a pleasant experience.

The only thing is I had to play the salesman/manager dance over the weekend. I was ready to sign the papers when I went in on Friday; I went back and signed the papers on Monday.

  11. Never Again

When I protested that that was untrue and that I would get it from the lender, Mr. Zachary told me with a sneer, “you can try”. When my mother brought up the extended warranty, he told her it was a “lifetime warranty”.

She said she was 75 years old, how long was a lifetime likely to be? He again smirked at her and said, “oh, well, people are living to be a hundred now, aren’t they?”. He was insulting and demeaning and disrespectful to my parents and myself the entire time we were there.

  12. Thanks again Mandie!

I just purchased a preowned Lexus RX 350 from Mandie. She made this out of state sale so easy! The sale was conducted over the phone and the paperwork was ready when I arrived. Everyone I met from Limbaugh Toyota was accommodating and friendly. Thanks again Mandie!
