Legacy Mutual Mortgage

BAD COMPANY and STAY AWAY

Do not under any circumstances use Legacy Mutual Mortgage . First they apparently can’t get things right.

I have a legal name and they misspelled it. When I pointed it out, they continued to misspell it.

I should have taken the hint. After that it was just worse, they couldn’t get documents right and I couldn’t access them to e-sign them. Just bad….

They have high fees. Seriously a $1000+ appraisal fee? I mean I’ve been through 11 appraisals and none have even been $500.

Believe it or not it got worse. We did a conventional loan and got seller concessions, but the concessions were higher than the law will allow. So guess what we had to pay some of what the seller conceded.

They made some excuse that they didn’t know until three days before the closing that the seller conceded.

That’s a bit of a lie because the closure estimate prior to that was even higher than what the seller conceded and that was over a month before and if it was a problem the month before you would have thought they would point it out.

Even I can do that much math in my head. So they can’t even lie well.

If someone recommends this company I would be surprised if they aren’t working for them.

I should have looked them up beforehand, my bad, but for those of you reading this beware this company is not certified.

It is a BAD COMPANY and STAY AWAY.

  1. I worked with Linda Rudd and her team at Legacy Mutual.

I worked with Linda Rudd and her team at Legacy Mutual. The team was very patient with me because this is my first home and many other reasons. I unfortunately didnt get the first house I went under contract with and had to switch programs due to guidelines due to my DTI when I went under contract again.

They worked so hard, even after hours to help me be able to get into my dream home. They are such nice and understanding people who know what they are doing and do it well. Sometimes there are unexpecring things that happen when buying a home and they were well prepared.

If you are looking for a lender I recommend Legacy Mutual and especially Linda Rudd’s team. I thank her and everyone else on the team that worked so hard behind the scenes for me. I also want to give special thanks to team member, Sara Shevchenko just because I talked to her the most and she always responded promptly.

  2. One learns from mistakes

Would not recomend unless you like being kept in the dark. Each time I asked them how things were going always got same response. As a Senior leader in the Army will ensure to let as many Soldiers as posible to go straight to military friendly brokers. One learns from mistakes

  3. UNPROFESSIONAL is the best word I can think of to describe my experience with Legacy Mutual.

UNPROFESSIONAL is the best word I can think of to describe my experience with Legacy Mutual. Their unresponsiveness and lack of communication was unbelievable.

If you are looking for a mortgage company that is going to work with you to help you achieve your goals this is NOT the place. I would recommend to anyone considering Legacy Mutual to steer away and find themselves a more professional organization.

I dealt with an agent by the name of Maggie Rivera who only spoke to me once, that is when she needed information from me. After that she ignored every one of my calls, and despite me leaving voicemail after voicemail she didn’t once return my call.

I am immensely disappointed and completely unimpressed. Don’t waste your time with these folks because they evidently don’t care about other peoples time.
