Lasik of Nevada

the follow up customer service is not good

While the overall procedure went well, the follow up customer service is not good. After the 6 month appointment, they won t schedule another one for you but tell you to call back in 6 months. If you forget and miss the date (or close to it) the will charge you $150 for a follow-up appointment. I would find another doctor that values customer service

  1. The staff is very informative and professional.

I had PRK done 2 months ago so my vision is not yet what it should be. I was told that it will improve over the next couple of months. At my last follow up appointment my vision was 20/25 and the monovision is taking a little longer to adjust but my eyes are still healing. I was nervous about the recovery time but the Dr is very reassuring. The staff is very informative and professional.

  2. i went somewhere else for my lasik

Have an appointment friday… i went somewhere else for my lasik

  3. I am very pleased with the staff and care!

John Biggs…I am very pleased with the staff and care! They are terrific with customer service. The only thing that I have a problem with is that they are not paying attention to my past.

I have had mono vision prior to seeing them Know I am supposed to be ignorant to the extent of progress. I am seriously considering a fair to poor review because of this. I have had some issues with the surgery, but keep in mind that it was worth it.

I will keep hoping that I will not need eye ware soon. Just listen to your patients. Some have had mono vision before. We are aware of the procedure. All in all a as of today I would have this done. I just want others to ask more questions than I thought was necessary. Dr. Rothman is very good don’t get me wrong, just ask more questions.

  5. Now I have very very BAD dry eye.

I had always wanted Lasik eye surgery so finally went for it. I was fitted for mono vision (one eye for close vision, one eye for far). I was afraid I would get both eyes done and would not like it (never wore Mono contacts, never tried it), so I had only my right eye done. I never saw the operating doctor, Dr. Rothman, until a few minutes before surgery.

He didn’t let me read the papers I had to sign giving all my rights away – in fact, he actually got mad at me. If I had been his employee it would have been abuse. The “team” never checked me for dry eye either. They checked me then right before surgery, found out I had severe dry eye, and although they should not have, they went forward with the surgery.
