Worst service department

Worst service department I have ever come across in my life to Land Rover Birmingham. Had to call five times just to schedule an appointment because I couldn’t get anyone to call me back. And then after my car had been there for a week it had a gash in the tire when I had never driven it.

My tires were supposedly rotated and no one noticed the gash or bothered to tell me about it.

This service department makes me not want to buy another Land Rover.

You’d be way better off taking your car to tire engineers.

    So far my experience has not been pleasant and it is getting worse as we speak. I bought Truck from them, it’s not their branded vehicle, but it was a great deal and just what I wanted. Upon test driving the vehicle, the salesman and myself noticed a vibration. He assured me that he was aware and it was just an alignment and they would fix it.

    After falling in love with the physical appearance of the vehicle, I proceeded with the purchase. After I purchase the vehicle, they detailed it and broke the window panel. He was going to disregard this and not tell me. I got a few miles up the road and started to rattle and almost come off, so I came back and they glued it on temporarily and agreed to order the part and fix it. No problem. Well after driving the truck, the vibration worsened.

    I couldn’t get my salesman to call me back or anyone for that matter. I was told to call Erin and she would set up the service. I talked to Erin, she said no, that’s your salesman’s responsibility. So after feeling like the truck was going to completely give out, I stopped by a dealership that sales this brand truck and they told me that based on the symptoms given, the torque converter was bad.

    The service at Land Rover Birmingham is atrocious. Outside of one Sales Manager…who is amazing…the staff is absolutely terrible. From the GM on down…nothing but awful experiences. I would not recommend buying anything from that dealership. If you want that type of car…drive somewhere else to buy bc this dealership does not know good customer service!

  3. This place is HORRIBLE AND ARROGANT!

    Rude! I wish I could give ZERO stars! Went there to look and possibly buy a Evoque. After sitting in the lobby area, the saleman comes out and stands in front of me and throws the paper at me and says this is what your payments will be, manager doesn’t come out once to talk or anything.

    This place is HORRIBLE AND ARROGANT!! Would not recommend going here, GO TO HENNESSEY LAND ROVER IN GEORGIA, definitely worth the trip! Outstanding sales team and management… Also got my 2017 Evoque, thanks for NOTHING Land Rover Birmingham! 🙂

  5. Just plain ole good people over there!

    I had the pleasure of working Gerald Seaborn a Service Advisor on board who communicated with me throughout the recall process. He also had my Vehicle inspected and I had those issues taken care of immediately. I’m very pleased with Land Rover of Birmingham and recommend them to all Land Rover owners. Just plain ole good people over there!
