While my experience at the 14th St location was 5-star, my overall experience with La-Z-Boy has been terrible. I was able to pick out several pieces, spending thousands of dollars, and enjoying the pieces I ordered. However, one of my pieces was defective. No problem right, I have a warranty and it was noted upon delivery, so instead of sending it back immediately I opted for a technician to come and fix it. After having to wait another 4-weeks to get an appointment the tech decided the piece was not repairable and was needed to be replaced, letting me know that a customer service representative will call me in a week. Well, a week later with no phone call I called to check in. After a lengthy hold, they told me the case is under review and they will call me back in 3-5 days. On the 6th day I call (another lengthy hold) and they said it was 3-5 business days and I should get a call in another couple days. A week later, still no call, and another lengthy customer service call. As of now 2+ months have passed since my original defective delivery and still no luck getting a call back from customer service. With the premium money I spent on this furniture I expected a much better experience.
