King Acura

Bad service expierence

Bad service expierence at King Acura. I had to almost argue with the service manager to get my first free oil change. This company makes you wait until they send you a free service card in the mail which I still had not recieved by my second service.

I had to argue with Tim to get my free service. I told Brian at the second visit, a piece of trim was loose on my brand new TLX.

He not only ordered the wrong part but tried to make me pay for the trim on a car with 14k miles.

I told Brian I was going to talk to the owner of the dealership concerning the visit today and he told me the owner was in another state and rudely stormed back in his office.

I spoke with the service manager about the situation also mentioning a noise I am hearing when the car is idleing.

He assured me the part would be repaired and the noise was just the injectors, but offered no apology for Brian’s actions.

I was told I could leave with my vehicle, and the part was ordered but was not given a copy of the invoice.

I do not like doing business with this company. I had a good sales expierence, but the service department has been a nightmare.

Take your business elsewhere.

  1. I would not recommend King Acura!

Worst experience ever! Purchased used vehicle, test drove, heard a noise that was not addressed . Salesman Tony Mickens. I would not recommend King Acura!

  2. Again, I believe that car doors should work for a lifetime.

I purchased a MDX new from King Acura. Just prior to the warranty expiring, the door lock broke in the passenger door. I was told how uncommon that was by King Acura. Less than a year later, a second door broke. A $6 part cost $200 in labor. Again, I was told how uncommon it was to have a door break.

At the most basic level, I believe you should be able to open a car for its lifetime without issue. Out of 4 doors, I’ve had 2 to break. The car has never been wrecked, has 53,000 miles and as I’ve never given birth, there aren’t children who are in and out and slamming the doors. Again, I believe that car doors should work for a lifetime.
