Keller Williams NYC

This Guy Is A Failure As A Broker

Writing from the perspective of someone who was interested in a listing from Keller Williams NYC (specifically the broker Chen Mishael).

Wow, for someone representing a listing that had been listed for 50+ days by the time I came around, this broker had no clue about this listing and didn’t seem interested in selling this place.

I feel bad for the owner he is representing, as he’s done nothing to try to get this place off the market.

When I asked who the telecom provider was, he said, “All of them” (absolute lie).

Where in the world can you choose which cable/internet/phone provider you can use?!

The place had been nicely renovated, but there were still some random things incomplete, like missing outlet covers, broken concrete around a drain, etc.

This guy had no answers for me and had to get back to me about everything, like it was his first day on the job.

We did some negotiations but each time we agreed verbally to a negotiation point, later on he’d come back with the original point and act clueless to our negotiations.

This guy is a failure as a broker, so if you are going to work with this company, definitely do not go with this specific broker.

Your place is not going to move!

  1. Sara Lu was very unprofessiona

Sara Lu was very unprofessional – never responded to questions and concerns – got another realtor and he sold place in no time. She’s lazy and irresponsible. Definitely wouldn’t recommend her.

  2. Mr. Taylor if you are reading this, YOU ARE DEAD TO ME!

Do not do any business with Darryl Taylor!!!! I would not even trust Keller just due to the mere fact they have this incompetent human being working for the company. Do not trust him with any documents as he will withhold them and always keep a trail of all communications. Mr. Taylor if you are reading this, YOU ARE DEAD TO ME!

  3. I would never recommend Keller nor use their services again.

If it were possible to give no stars I would have given this company nothing. After reviewing a listing, seeing the apartment and paying fees we were then handled a ton of excuses and run arounds.

The old switch and bait perhaps. We were told everything from the office was on vacation, till the owner was on vacation, till there are no updates have a back up plan. I’m almost positive the apartment was rented. I have no tolerance for people who take advantage of others and pocket money. I would never recommend Keller nor use their services again.

  4. The worst real estate agents in New York.

The worst real estate agents in New York. They pride themselves on their “training” when in reality it’s a bunch of people who have no idea what they’re doing. They’re unprofessional, rude, and utterly lacking in the skills required to be effective agents.

If you’re a real estate agent you should be trained and prepared for all different scenarios — especially when it comes to dealing with people’s documents. They’re just utterly dumb and I in no way shape or form ever want to work with them again.

Completely unprofessional. Completely ignorant. Completely useless. It’s no wonder they’ve lost some big accounts throughout the past year or so.

  5. How are these people still in business?

HUGE WASTE OF TIME – TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I contacted these folks on Streeteasy. After 6 emails and three phone calls to me, they realized that the apartment I wanted to see was being renovated and couldn’t be seen. After more emails, I agreed to see another apartment.

The agent showed up late and didn’t even have the keys to the apartment. Yet another showing was cancelled 10 minutes before the appointment. And finally they called to say that the first apartment had been rented! Really?? How are these people still in business?

  6. Please whatever you do DO NOT USE KATERYNA RYBKA.

Kateryna Rybka IS THE DEVIL. LIAR. UNPROFESSIONAL. OFFENSIVE. DISGUSTING. This “broker” not only wasted my time and effort, she treated me like worthless mud. I was willing to pay her fee, rent an apartment over the asking price and even pay the entire year upfront.

But NO, she completely dropped the ball and kept lying to me until the very end. Please whatever you do DO NOT USE KATERYNA RYBKA.

  7. Never Again

the worst company ever, i was working with them as an agent ,they stole my client and i lost 2 rental deals in one week and they cut my commission and i was willing

  8. I really can't believe this guy.

Ian Tabbal was rude and aggressive to me and the other broker. I really can’t believe this guy.

  9. Bad Service

I live in Brooklyn New York, I was looking to buy a house in the city, so I called Keller Williams NYC, and I spoke to Laura she gave me the worst service ever, first I was waiting her to call me back took weeks, and than she started showing me garbage for crazy expensive prices, so I went to a different agent in a week I had a house cheap price good location not pushing me just letting me think it over NEVER CALL THIS COMPANY THE WORST!!!!!!!

  10. The upfront cost is not that serious.

If you like to pay $200-300 a month in fees to work with this company, then do what you gotta do. For everyone else that not trying to spend an arm and a leg, keep it moving…. The upfront cost is not that serious.

  11. Keller Williams was one of the agencies I was working with to find an apartment in NYC.

Keller Williams was one of the agencies I was working with to find an apartment in NYC. Though, I ended up finalizing with someone else, primarily because of fees, which are demented in this city, I have to say Feng Shi, who was my SP, was a great guy.

Even after I signed a lease with a different agency, he still kept in touch with me, and when I needed a part time job, even went so far as to set up a interview with his boss.

  12. Excellent

Tracey Remarais – was excellent. She was very professional and found us a great apartment!

  13. I really hope I could return quickly!

In the center of the Stamford slope, twenty minutes from down-town, 10 to Stamford . Really quiet and calm area, having a great fitness center and plenty and pools of room to recreation area your vehicle.

Flats are large and properly prepared, mattresses are extremely comfortable as well as the restrooms are clean and good, I really hope I could return quickly!

  14. Thomas was a fantastic agent to use.

Thomas was a fantastic agent to use. Helped me find an amazing apartment on the UES. Since I was moving from Philadelphia, I only had one day to look for apartments, so he was prepared with 15-20 apartments and was willing to see more if I didn’t find anything. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for property in Manhattan.

  15. We cannot recommend him enough!

Jonathan McKesten is the real deal! My boyfriend and I were moving from Florida and only had a few days in the city to find a place. Given our unique situation, being new to the crazy NYC real estate market, and being on a time crunch, we were pretty overwhelmed.

Luckily for us, we had the pleasure of meeting and working with Jon, who went above and beyond to help us. He was incredibly knowledgeable on the neighborhood we were looking in (East Village). He had information on specific buildings, rental companies, application processes, etc.

He even broke down the NYC market as a whole for us as well so that we understood all the lingo/quirks. And on top of his knowledge and helpfulness, he was great at communicating and was always honest, upfront, and punctual. We anticipate to move at least a few more times in NYC and will use Jon every time. We cannot recommend him enough!

  16. I couldn't have imagined this process without him!

I was so fortunate to work with Thomas Hollingsworth at Keller Williams NYC for my recent purchase in a co-op building in NYC. As a first time homebuyer, Thomas helped me to make informed decisions and I benefited from his extensive expertise throughout the entire process.

Thomas was always working to keep the process moving forward, all while keeping me informed every step of the way. He left no question unanswered and was a true advocate for me in getting the deal done. Thomas was personable and easy to work with — I couldn’t have imagined this process without him!
