Terrible customer service

Katie B. swore up and down this would be a seamless easy process and I’ve had nothing but problems with everything. Terrible customer service, she was ok with helping me until I started having these problems.

I had my list for the seller to fix upon move in, they sent me receipt that it I was done but due to being out of town for my inspection, Katie was going to do a walk through for me. I was extremely greatful, she called and said everything is perfect and we are ready to close…

well a few days after moving in, the fan in my living room was dangling from its wires. I reached out to her as she stated was okay even after move in. She completely pushed me off. This was apart of the electrical issues before,

she swore up and down saying she did the walk through. I was forced to pay $90 out of my pocket to get someone to come do the work and put my ceiling fan back on the wall seeing as it was neglected during the walk through.

The guy who fixed It explained it was not even done correct to begin with, which again should have been checked with the inspection before move in. But it wasn’t the only thing!! Which surprised me, they boast about being “professional” and “excellent customer service,

” when she literally did the complete opposite. I’m fully convinced that she did not even go to the walk through as she promised. There is a leak undernieth the sink from where they said the garbage disposal was not even hooked up right,

it leaks and leaves huge puddles under my sink every time I wash dishes. And the another thing that they said was fixed was my dishwasher that has not even worked since I moved in. She has laughed at me when I brought up my conserns over the phone and stated

“that’s all part of owning a home.” Even though these things were promised to be fixed or in working condition upon move in. She gave me her plumbers number to fix the sink and stated that she would pay for it, which he came over said he fixed it and it is still leaking to this day.

She also explained “I am doing this out of the kindness of my heart and I don’t have to do this at all.” Which is funny as this all should have been taken care of before move in. Also the MLS web site explained that water was included in the HOA,

I though this was accurate and nothing was said to me upon closing. When I showed up to get my keys there was a water disconnect notice on my door. To my surprise the water was NOT included in the HOA and now I’ve signed for this house.

I have felt tricked into this for about a month now. They all pushed the blame off on me saying I should have researched better when they said they would do it for me. Me being a naïve first time home buyer I believed it.

They stated that it was on the paperwork provided to me but seeing as my co signer was in another state, as soon as we received anything from them they would say hey his is due in two hours, get it done now, now, now, now, now!!!!.

Even though I work for a financial institution, where I cannot use my phone or sign these documents at work. Constant problems but they wanted everything done right now, right now. They also didn’t send me the correct paper work to sign when I was out of state,

they had to send it again and put a halt on things and ruin my vacation with their unirginized anticks. Super annoying inconvenience, the whole thing, I would never refer them to family or friends… EVER!

Avoid them if you can. I called my home warranty program and they refuse to fix it as well. But it’s no ones fault. Convenient.
