Kate SPA

Cost Several hundred dollars

I don’t mean to be negative, but I would leave positive feedback because I loved Kate.

But I felt the need to share my bad experience with the microdermabrasion done by Kate.

The coupon was worth $100, and I paid $50. I was told that microdermabrasion is a procedure you can do during lunch, but it didn’t seem like there could be any risk.

I provided all details about my cosmetics, including which ones were exfoliators.

Kate and I decided that we would not discuss the areas around our mouths and eyes, as they are dry.

We will focus on my cheeks which have oily skin and large pores.

My skin became so red and itchy that it made it difficult to sleep the next night.

I could not work for the entire week and had to visit the emergency room.

I called Kate, and she sent me photos. I was told to see a dermatologist, and she offered to pay me back the money.

I refused to take the money back, as I didn’t care about money. I wanted to be expected and be able to work.

I spent several hundred dollars on an ER visit and a dermatologist, but that is unimportant.

After this incident, I researched online and discovered that microdermabrasion should only be done by a medical professional.

Kate called later to inquire about her recovery status and was unable to help.

I didn’t like the fact that she said that after microdermabrasion (even if my skin did not erupt), I would not notice any improvement as my skin is already exfoliated. Also, I did not require treatment.

Mainly, I didn’t like that she sent me photos of my skin reddening and bloated.

I asked her why she hadn’t warned me. She replied, “You took the chance.”(Agree to the treatment only on the cheeks).

Cortisone was applied to my skin, and it healed within ten days.

In my horror, I discovered new wrinkles as my skin began to crack in the sensitive area of the mouth.

Sorry, I felt the need to warn you. This could be because I experienced this horror, and no one else will.

Just to let you all know that things can get terrible.
