It was the biggest mistake of my life. I own a company and it was doing great. In 2008, it was among the Inc500 companies and with annual revenue $4 million. However, after I appointed Joseph as the CFO of the company, it suffered a complete loss. It is now on the verge of bankruptcy.
When I hired Joseph, it was because of the experience he held and the references he brought. In the span of only two years, he spent almost $1.5 M from the funds of the company’s account. The money was spent on his personal use and to treat his boyfriend. He played it smart and kept signing for debit and credit cards on his name from the company’s account. The money was spent on things like gym, couple vacations, food, gold or
whatever you can think of. He was making most of the company’s fund for his lavishness.
He even paid for his underwear from the company’s account. He was leading a quiet life which he wanted to hide from everyone and was making out with one of the ex-employee, Tim MacHay.
The problem does not end here. While he was appointed, he never paid the partners and vendors on time and kept misleading them and making promises for another date. Because of which, our relationships have been gone for a toss with all the vendors who were a part of our company’s success from a long term.
We have everything documented and can be easily referenced to prove the scam done by Joseph. He kept all these transactions hidden from the team that managed funds and kept using it for his personal use and luxury. Later, when things started messing up, I myself, got into the management and checked every detail. That is when I found about all these things that were happening without my knowledge.
I searched for his track record as I was sure that it was not his first time. To my surprise, I found two such cases listed on Broward County’s Clerk of Court’s website with similar instances. I believe that I did not do my homework before appointing him to such a responsible position.
He used all his rights to turn the company into a garbage. He knew that he would not be able to sustain for long but that did not bother him. He has done it before and was just repeating the same scam again. If he thinks that he can get away with this every time, he did not cross my paths. I would make sure that he gets what he deserves. I am completely not in a position to make much funding to get back my company to its feet, but I am all set to destroy his intentions for any further damage to any other company going forward. Joseph Frontiera is a cheat and knows how to make people trust his words. But, this is not taking him any far from here. He is going to pay for the problems it created for my company.
