The communication between the lab and the clinic is abysmal
I went to John C Fremont Medical Clinic to get a full physical for the first time in years. I had a list of questions for the doctor.
She got frustrated that I had questions, so I didn’t feel comfortable asking all of them.
The communication between the lab and the clinic is abysmal.
They told me to fast for a test, then when I got there they told me that was unnecessary.
After I left they called me to come back because they forgot a test.
It took over a month to hear about my test results -I had no luck getting them sooner by calling.
I was transferred multiple times to an answering machine of the doctors assistant and never heard back.
I went in for another test which they had to repeat (because they messed up the results) during the supposed follow-up visit for that test. I still haven’t heard back about the re-test.
I asked for some standard women’s cancer and health screenings -they completely forgot to do two of them after the doctor said she would and they tried to discourage me from having from the 1-3 year women’s health cancer screening.
It’s incredibly confusing there- it seems like they won’t notify you with either good or bad results.
You schedule a follow-up in person a month out and then when you show up they kinda look blankly at you and ask why you’re there.

My review is for the staff of the specialty clinic! I first saw the neurologist Dr. Hylton who is AMAZING in April and said I needed Botox for my migraines. I live 2 and a half hours away and when I called a week in advance to see if my insurance had approved the injections before my appointment the following June 13th appointment, I left 2 messages with Tabitha and never got a call back!
Then the day before my appointment I called again and was told my appointment was canceled a week ago! Well nobody told me! Then when I asked if my insurance had approved the injections she said she would call me back! YA RIGHT!! So I decided to call my insurance myself, and if you can believe it, THEY HAVE’NT EVEN SUBMITTED AN APPROVAL YET!!!!
So I called the office back and asked to speak with the supervisor, they transferred me to a lady named Cindy and that was Thursday and she still hasn’t called me back! This place is an absolute mess! I don’t have a choice but to come here because this is the only neurologist my insurance will cover but the office staff cannot get it together to save their lives! I’m extremely disappointed and very upset!
