I am in the Air Force and was moving from Korea to Las Vegas. I found Mr. Jim Wegman online and told him what I was looking for.
I came to Las Vegas during my mid-tour and met with him.
After viewing a few homes we went to my number on choice from my researched houses.
I decided on a home for me and my family. Mr. Wegman made promises to take pictures and to keep us updated during the building.
I returned to Korea and asked him for pictures. His reply was contact the builder.
I came back to Las Vegas in May to complete the walkthrough and to close on the house.
He was not there for the walkthrough. My loan was denied and I sought other options in financing.
I secured a loan and purchased the home through a power of attorney because I had to return to Korea.
When I received to final paperwork Mr. Wegman and his company received over $10,000.00 in commission.
I feel like I was robbed and discriminated against. I believe he thought I would not get approved so he did not want to help.
He had no issues with taking money he did not earn though.
I feel like he took advantage of me while I was away serving my country.
At no time has he tried to contact me, not even to say congratulations on the house.
Stay away from him. If his actions reflected his promises I would not have an issue.
I am truly sadden.
