This review is not for the service, but for their scheduling staff. I scheduled someone to come over and run diagnostics in my fireplace, which is currently not working. They scheduled for a Wednesday afternoon, someone was supposed to call me in the morning to give me an arrival window, and then later 30min prior to their arrival.
Wednesday morning came and nothing. When it got to 2pm, I called them to see if someone was still coming. They said they were backlogged with too many people needing their A/C fixed, which took priority over my fireplace due to the hot weather. I asked why I wasn’t notified, but no answer to that.
I asked if I could schedule it for another day, and the person said yes, but there was no guarantee someone would show up. I asked if that was the case, if someone would call me. Then the person reiterated that was hot season, priority was given to A/C over fireplaces, etc. At that point I just thanked him, and hung up.
In summary: if you’re not servicing fireplaces because of of the hot season, just say that. If you are scheduling appointments, call when they will not be kept and this way customers won’t take off work and wait on you. It’s not hard.
