Jackson Hewitt Tax Service
This is a horrible business.
Before H&R Block, I filed my taxes every year with Jackson Hewitt Tax Service for 12 years.
H&R Block’s professionalism has made me regret my decision not to switch sooner.
They were able to catch Jackson Hewitt’s mistake in a previous tax year and took the time with me to help me understand what I needed to do to correct it.
Jackson Hewitt was notified, and although they admitted they made a mistake, they refused to give me the money I’m entitled to.
The company said they would fix the problem, but I was only given the runaround when I followed up.
One of their employees (Kalani? Finally, I got in touch with someone from their corporate office.
I was told that I would be issued an error guarantee check and receive a bill.
However, I never heard back from them.
I was once more beaten up when I tried to follow up. Jackson Hewitt will never again be a business partner of mine.
They were unable to answer simple tax questions many times over the years.
I was shocked when I discovered H&R Block.
Jackson Hewitt is a bit more expensive than Block, but that’s not enough to justify their poor customer service and lack of knowledge.
You get what your pay for (or less in this instance). From now on, it’s just Block or Turbo Tax!!
