I wish I could give Jonathan Mees, Michelle Emma and anyone we dealt with at J.G. Wentworth Home Lending zero stars.
From the get go, Jonathan was blowing up my husband’s phone to get the deal.
As soon as he had the deal and things started to go south he was less than responsive or attentive.
Michelle was curt and unprofessional in almost every interaction we had with her.
She writes emails like text messages with no regard for pleasantries or putting her customers at ease.
Jonathan and Michelle appear to not communicate as I would get multiple requests from Michelle for things we’d already sent to Jonathan.
We would also get multiple requests in short periods of time if they needed information from us, but they would take days to reply to our requests.
We cancelled the application in March, it’s now early June and we still have not received the hard copy of the appraisal as promised or a letter confirming cancellation.
Before the appraisal was even done (so the loan was no where near closed) they called our home owners insurer and changed the lien holder on our policy to their name.
Thankfully we have an attentive personal agent who caught that and notified us.
I would definitely not recommend J.G. Wentworth Home Lending and especially not Jonathan Mees or Michelle Emma.
