Internal Revenue Service

The Worst Experiences

Worst experience ever With Internal Revenue Service. So I waited three hours outside of the building because there was a fire in the fourth floor (no stars on that) once I was able to go to the office I was called up to 01 office which is the Latin lady and as I have her my paper she flat out said I can’t help you.

As I asked on why she began saying “You’re young, you have your whole life ahead of you but you got to learn.”

I tell her plain and simple can you help or not? She then says no in which is all I needed.

Not a life speech. She then continues on how my parents should be with me but the form I gave her clearly states that the reason for this form is to get consent from my parents to get their transcripts.

As I sit there she sneak disses me saying you need to learn more, mind you she’s saying all this while I’m in the room.

I plainly just ask can I get another form and if I can do this online? She then says quickly “Yeah it’s better for you to do it online,” in which is true but her tone pissed me off to the brink.

I understand that I may have two errors on the handout I handed to her but her attitude was totally unacceptable and unprofessional.

It states inside each booth that “Conversations may be recorded,” and I’m surprised that she hasn’t been fired with that attitude.

  1. They are people just like the rest of us.

If you owe a lot on back taxes and you truly have no assets and no way to repay them and your not just BS’ing don’t waste your money on these expensive relief services. All you have to do is get off your behinds and go talk to the agent assigned to your case. They are descent people, really. Be upfront and honest with them and they will bend over backwards to help you get your life back in order.

They are people just like the rest of us. Tax services may be needed for crooks who are trying to beat the system and they are often times more money than the taxes you owe. I cant stress the honesty thing enough. Be honest with your agent and you will be surprised how willing they are to help. The only time I could see them getting nasty is if you have the ability to pay but are trying beat the system.

  2. Never Again

If you don’t want to wait that long to pay, just get a money order from the postal office inside the building. Take it to the receptionist and make sure they stamp it and give you a copy! It’s better then waiting for hours unless you have an issue to discuss with an IRS person.

  3. Scammer

I ask them that a relative of mines needs to make cash payment and the women proceed to tell me that the wait to have my cash payment accepted by a clerk would be 2 hrs long, but they would go in the back and see if he/she was not busy.

So the African-American women decides to be “nice” and goes to the back to see if the clerk wasn’t “too busy”…she comes back and tells me the wait would be 30 minutes so I decided to take my seat (oh, and if you wait make sure you get a number or something).

As I waited, I would notice how both the receptionist would bicker amongst themselves and how rudely they would answer and cut off people’s questions. The Hispanic receptionist kept having an awful cough *eww* and would snap at clients if they approached the receptionist desk. The other lady did the same thing.
