Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center

Doctor Not Patient Friendly At All

Jeffrey A.Greenberg, M.D. not patient friendly at all. I had broken arm, and Dr. Greenberg took 4 months to get me into operation for repair. Seriously.

And I really suffered many adverse side effects due to unreasonable delay.

I kept asking why all the delay, postponements of surgery, etc., and I never received any answer or explanation.

Afterwards, I tried asking him about continued pain in arm, numbness in fingers, etc. and he brushed me off, telling me to see my regular doctor.

That doctor, of course, told me those questions were for my orthopedic surgeon, and he was no help. So, no help anywhere. Problems continue.

  1. I would not go anywhere else

I had wrist surgery with Dr Fischer and his staff. Couldn’t have been treated any better, Dr Fischer is a great surgeon, great sense of humor, compassionate. I would not go anywhere else

  2. you just have to be very persistent with the office staff to get what you need!

I had carpal tunnel surgery on both the right and left hands 3 weeks apart. The work I had done with Dr. Kaplan was wonderful. For the most part the medical staff was great to deal with as well. My only issue is that it has taken me more than a month to get the billing statement I need.

They are unresponsive to emails (their preferred method of requests) and voice mails. I also had some issues getting anyone on the phone at the Avon office.

It is woefully understaffed. I would recommend the Center for your surgery, you just have to be very persistent with the office staff to get what you need!
