I completely agree my fault of ordering gifts from HSM before checking the customer reviews. This had never happened if I had invested some time to check the company’s feedback on the internet. I ordered Ming 5 Qt pan with fry basket. This was done in September of 2017.
Again, I ordered the same product in December 2017 to gift it to my daughter in the Christmas. They sent me double order by assuming that the Christmas order was lost. So, I received in the total of 3 products.
I returned one of them and kept two for gifting it in Christmas. I got the refund too. However, the double shipment cost never showed up on my Flex card. I was getting charged every month but couldn’t track the shipment. I had to depend on their geniuses for charging me right.
The deductions kept happening and I had to contact these people in February to know the status. I did not know why it was taking too long to complete the order’s payment. They said that it was only two more payments of $19.98 and the payment will stop.
Now, in the month of March, my account was deducted with $45 without prior notice. The charges were for an item costing $39.95 that was delivered in December which I ordered for my daughter. As per their claims, there were two refunds made on my account by mistake and they were correcting that glitch by taking the payment now.
This was a lie. I never got two refunds. It was only for that item I shipped back. Now, they are trying to steal my money on an item that was shipped three months back. They said that they issued a refund on another item as well that was not returned. This was not true at all.
Since the time, I ordered, I have only received one refund. The first one was paid in full and they were charging me for another one.
I asked for a ledger document and they refused. They said that they could not provide me that document. If not, they should have audited the transactions properly. The problem is that they never listed the double shipped items on my flex page. I would have been able to track the payments.
Who knows, they did not on purpose? How can such a company working with huge customers make such mistake? This is not acceptable. I am sure they know I cannot sue them for $45 and I have no option to check if they have scammed more money from my account which I am sure they had. But what option am I left with?
That is the reason I am writing this report here. If you care about your money, never order anything from HSN. This company is a fraud. The accounts department is not only incompetent but also unsupportive. They could have helped me to understand the differences, but they were only busy in deducting the money from my account.
