Holden Thomas – Summit Fundin...

Terrible A Communication

Holden Thomas – Summit Funding was recommended to me by a friend.

The initial interaction was great, solid communication, and Holden was great at answering questions and finding the right product for us.

This all went down the drain at closing.

The estimates that he provided was way off.

The follow-up was terrible a communication was completely lacking.

No solutions have been followed through on.

  1. Scammer

Because of the lack of communication and the all of the setbacks during the loan process, the seller was beyond frustrated and wasn’t willing to wait any longer. If we didn’t close on the house, we would lose it. After being screwed over by a builder that never built our house, and stole $16k from us. Living in an apartment for a year with three kids. We were desperate for this house.

Holden told us that he was going to look into the VA loan option one more time, and magically our benefits were eligible a day before our new closing date. He promised us that if we closed with this Conventional loan at the higher interest rate, he would refinance our home with the VA immediately after closing. We yet again trusted him.

We closed on our home with the higher interest rate. After a month and half of begging him to get the refinance started, he told us that we cannot refinance with the VA for another 6 months because the VA has a “seasoning time” that makes you wait. He then proceeded to offer us another Conventional loan.

  2. Buying a new home is stressful.

Buying a new home is stressful. Anything can go wrong as soon as you execute a contract. You do your research and try to find the top company to help you during your loan process.

Trusting someone to handle your loan isn’t easy, but when you find someone to do the job, you hope, and pray they are honest and do everything they can to get you the best rates and into your dream home.

We are an average all American family. My husband is a Marine Corps Veteran, and he works hard to provide for his family of 5. We found the perfect home that was in our price range and we trusted Holden Thomas the Vice President of Summit Funding to get this loan taken care of.
