Awful customer service At Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union. Branch manager insisted that I had to pay a $5 fee for them to honor a check written to me by one of their account holders!

She told me to either pay the fee or deposit it at my own bank and risk a $35 bounce fee if it didn’t clear.

She also refused to tell me if the check was good.
