The Service Is Non-Existent

I was a member at Guardian Credit Union since 1986, when it was even Cornerstone Credit Union, back when it was GASCO.

The service is non-existent. After 27 years of banking there I still would have checks bounce because they hold them for 3 days.

I was sad to dump my accounts there, but they were completely clueless.

I have my other accounts at Park Bank, huge difference.

  1. They rejected this idea and claimed the only way to earn money was to continually add more money.

    My savings account earned negative 48% for the year. When I called Guardian Credit Union, they said it was due to inactivity. Shouldn’t “savings” be able to sit and earn interest, I asked.

    They rejected this idea and claimed the only way to earn money was to continually add more money. They also told me my savings amount was insignificant which I found insulting. Perhaps they make more money then me. Perhaps it’s from taking peoples’ savings.

    Totally disgusted with the lack of customer service. No promised phone call in six days! Help cannot seem to ever find a supervisor to answer the simplest of questions.

    Do not waste your time dealing with these people. We just wasted 6 months trying to get our kid’s home refinanced and in the process they’re credit rating took a dive because Guardian kept re-running their credit score..

    I can’t believe the gross incompetence of the people working there. They are clueless. Now we’re starting all over with a credit union that will have some idea of what they’re doing. (landmark?)

    Always rude…. staff is completely disinterested in helping anyone. It’s a chore to get service.
